Basic Salary
Every Senior Personal Financial Adviser starts with a competitive basic salary.
Bonus Scheme
The bonus scheme gives you uncapped earning opportunities and is made up of several elements that are directly influenced by your personal performance. Your target is 4 out of 5 days, to allow for the coaching and mentoring role. It includes a quarterly bonus based on Open Ended Production & New Money and an annual element based on File Quality, persistency and Branch bonus
Free Shares
Free shares based on up to 5% of salary & held in trust for 3 years. After 3 years you can sell the shares or wait an extra 2 years and sell them tax-free. You earn dividends while the shares are in trust.
Sharekicker
There is the opportunity to increase earnings by using all or part of your annual bonus to buy shares. If the shares are kept for three years HBOS will add 50% more shares. This gives you the opportunity to increase the after-tax value of your bonus by 50%. This scheme is reviewed on an annual basis (capped at 20% 0f basic salary).
Recognition Scheme
Currently a top 100 scheme for best performers. Attracts additional bonus payments and better benefits. Kudos recognises top performers through regional quarterly events and on a national basis 10% of the sales force are invited to an exotic break, past events Monte Carlo, New York, Dubai Cape Town and the Arctic Circle.
Sharesave
Opportunity to buy shares on favourable terms for monthly payments of £5-£250, over a 3, 5 or 7 year fixed term. The last option was granted with a 20% reduction on the share price. This scheme is reviewed on an annual basis.

BUPA cover is provided to all SPFAs.
Life Assurance
Free death in service cover gives you 4 x basic salary, plus a pension for your partner.
Money Purchase Pension Scheme
All new colleagues automatically become members of the HBOS Group Money Purchase Scheme when they join the company.
As a member of the scheme you pay contributions into your individual retirement account and HBOS makes additional contributions on your behalf. How much you contribute is up to you, a level 1-4 colleague will begin paying 4% contributions and will benefit from HBOS contributing 6% into your retirement account. You can increase or decrease your contributions at any time.
