For on target performance you can earn up to the equivalent of £24,600 per annum… plus lots of other benefits!
Basic Salary
Pay Range - £12,000 - £20,225.
Bonus
The bonus for a Valuer will be calculated using:
- Residential Income
- Mortgage Completions
On Target earnings approx – 25-30%
Bonus Sharekicker
In 2006 you will have the opportunity to increase your earnings by using your bonus earnings to buy shares (capped at 20% of salary). If the shares are kept for 3 years the Halifax will add 50% more shares.
Free Shares
Free shares based on up to 5% of salary & held in trust for 3 years. After 3 years you can sell the shares or wait an extra 2 years and sell them tax-free. You earn dividends while the shares are in trust.
Pension
All new colleagues automatically become members of the HBOS Group Money Purchase Scheme when they join the company.
As a member of the scheme you pay contributions into your individual retirement account and HBOS makes additional contributions on your behalf. How much you contribute is up to you, a level 1-4 colleague will begin paying 4% contributions and will benefit from HBOS contributing 6% into your retirement account. You can increase or decrease your contributions at any time.

Life Assurance
Life Assurance is also provided by HBOS which is a lump sum of 4 x your annual salary is paid to a nominated beneficiary.
