An overview of the role
Using your extensive sales experience, you'll motivate and coach teams of our in-branch mortgage advisers in a specific area. Working with our hugely popular range of products, you'll focus on driving sales performance to help us build on our position as the UK's leading mortgage lender. You'll also use your knowledge of the marketplace (and the opportunities available within it) to develop ambitious, yet achievable sales plans.
Other key responsibilities
As you won't be linked to one specific branch you'll need to coordinate resources so that you can effectively manage your advisers remotely. You'll set the highest standards of customer service, which in turn will help develop long-term customer relationships, and you'll work closely with each branch to ensure they're complying with regulation. Having that strong working relationship will also be key in helping branch teams cross-sell mortgage products and spot opportunities to recommend customers to our specialist advisers.
The skills and experience you need:
- A proven track record of driving mortgage sales within a defined risk framework.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to give clear feedback and guidance to colleagues.
- An up-to-date knowledge of the mortgage market in your area.
- A hands-on management style that will inspire every member of your team to deliver quality sales.
- CeMAP qualified.
