What the role involves
You'll welcome customers to your branch, help them find what they're looking for and suggest alternative ways for them to use our services without queuing up for the counter.
As well as managing the flow of customers through our banking halls, you'll look for opportunities to promote our products and refer customers to other members of the branch team (e.g our personal financial advisers) for more information.
It's all about achieving the right balance between helping to generate new sales for the branch and delivering the highest standards of customer service.
The skills and experience we're looking for
You'll essentially be the face of Halifax or Bank of Scotland, so you'll need to be friendly, helpful and able to make customers feel at ease as soon as they walk in the door. Don't worry if you haven't done this kind of role before. As long as you enjoy working in a team, are willing to learn new skills and confident using computers, you'll fit right in.
