An overview of the role
A ‘champion' of sales practices and techniques, you'll focus on meeting and exceeding your branch's targets by coaching your colleagues to improve their product knowledge and selling skills. You'll also instil in your team a commitment to delivering the highest standards of customer service, while working closely with your manager to create a high-energy, high-performance culture within the branch.
Other key responsibilities
You'll make sure your team is motivated, you'll need to make sure successes are celebrated. And, on the flip side, if sales aren't coming you'll need to look at ways to refocus your team's efforts and provide extra training where required.
The skills and experience you need:
- A track record of delivering sales from within the banking, financial services industry or sales management experience in other industries.
- An excellent motivator and leader of colleagues.
- To be sales driven and motivated to meet and exceed demanding targets.
- A hands-on management style that will inspire and motivate your team and add value to individual performances.
