What the role involves
Working in one of our Halifax or Bank of Scotland branches, you'll offer financial advice to customers and provide them with clear explanations about our product range (which just happens to be one of the most competitive and comprehensive in the business). The customer can then make an informed decision about which product is right for them.
Very much part of the branch team, you'll coach your colleagues to recognise situations where they could recommend customers to you for more information about our products. With this in mind you'll need to manage your diary effectively in order to give yourself time to get to know your customers' individual needs.
There will be targets to meet and bonus to earn. But with our comprehensive training, the support of your colleagues and a computer system designed to make the whole sales process more effective, you'll have everything you need to be a success.
The skills and experience we're looking for
You'll be able to demonstrate experience in a sales environment and you'll need to be Fully FPC or CeFA qualified. We're after people who can create and take sales opportunities, so you'll need to be able to demonstrate consistent good performance in a sales environment, while at the same time putting the customer's needs first.
In addition to being a natural with people, you'll need good administration skills, the ability to build strong working relationships with your colleagues and a commitment to making sure every one of your customers gets a product that's right for them. In essence - a drive and hunger to succeed.
